Continuance

When study about Design Principle which was taught in week 4, I have read a article about Gestalt theory. Gestalt is a basis study for making a good design. "Gestalt theory is involved with visual perception and the psychology of art among other things. It is concerned with the relationship between the parts and the whole of a composition" (Design note, 2000)

After read through whole article, I was interested in the concept of Continuance so I tried to look for something related, and here they are:

This kind of continuance method is called Path. That is using path, road, railroad track, row of tree to lead viewers to a specific place (in these cases this place is far, far away point, for me). Also, the perspective method was used and again, the "far, far away point" is called vanishing point.

This image was used the same technique as three images above but I post it separately from them because it's slightly different, for me. As Gestalt theory, the road lead viewers to the vanishing point in the right of the image. However, in the middle of the road, there's...a tree. And the tree, makes the continuance be ...cut.
